Step by step booking guide

Contact us by mail, phone or email and let us know your name, address, telephone number and email address if you have one; the property and dates you wish to book; the number of people in your party, together with any special requirements you may have.

We will check availability and get back to you normally within 24 hours. If your choice is available we will make a provisional booking on your behalf which will be held for 14 days.

To confirm the booking we require a 25% non refundable deposit. If the holiday commences in less than eight weeks, full payment is required when you book.

As soon as our bank has received your deposit (or full balance), we will send you a confirmation of booking, the balance due for payment and the date upon which it is due.

The outstanding balance is due six weeks before the start of your holiday. Once this has been received we will send you final confirmation together with directions to find Molino la Ratonera. We will remind you one week before this is due.

How to pay

We will either give you our bank details if you use internet or telephone banking or we will send you two bank giro credit slips and prepaid envelopes(one for the deposit and one for the balance) to send cheques to our bank in the UK. You may also pay by credit card but, with the exception of late availability bookings, we have to impose a 3% surcharge on card payments.

Booking conditions
Payment

Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of the appropriate deposit payment. The final payment will be due six weeks before commencement of the rental period. If it is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel the booking, retain the deposit and apply the cancellation charges as described below.

Cancellation

Any cancellation must be notified in writing. If the cancellation is received more than six weeks before the commencement of the rental period we will retain the deposit but no further charges will be due. Otherwise, the following charges will apply: 15 days or more, 50%; 14 days or less, 100%.

If, on a very rare occasion, we need to cancel your booking we will endeavour to find alternative accommodation of a similar quality or offer a full refund of all monies paid.

Amendments

Customers may alter bookings up to six weeks prior to the commencement of the rental period at no charge. Date or property changes with less than six weeks notice will incur a 10% administration charge.

Party size

Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of people as stated in the property description occupy a property except by prior consent stated on the booking confirmation.

Responsibilities

We take great care to ensure the property is clean and in good condition but it is the client's responsibility to leave the property in the condition they found it. Any breakages or complaints should be notified to the owners immediately so that every effort can be made to resolve issues during your stay.

Pets

We do not accommodate pets in these properties.

Facilities

Kitchens are equipped with full size cooker, hot and cold water, refrigerator, adequate cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses and other household equipment for holiday use and suitable for the number of people each house accommodates. Each property has a modern flushing toilet in a bathroom with bath and/or shower and hot and cold running water. Water is at a premium in this part of Spain so your help in conserving supplies will be greatly appreciated.

Swimming pool

The swimming pool is filtered but unheated. Its use is, therefore, limited to the spirng, summer and autumn months.

Disabled or elderly guests

La Palomera is all on one level, has a bathroom equipped for elderly or disabled guests and has parking directly outside the house. Please contact us for more details.
